State Park Overview
Camping
CampgroundTygart Lake State Park Campground is open from mid-April through October weather permitting. Our campground offers fourteen electric sites and twenty-six standard sites for a total of forty camping sites.
Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Water is located at the center of the campground and the sewage dumping station is located nearby. The centrally located bathhouse offers hot showers and toilets for campers. Reservations are not taken for the campground -ll sites are on a first come first-served basis. Bagged ice and firewood are for sale at the check-in station. See below for Rates.

Picnicking
Our picnic shelter is perfect for family reunions, family outings, catered functions, parties, cookouts and are available for reservation during the summer season. Reservations are recommended for summer weekends and holidays.

Boating
Swimming
Swimming is offered in the roped off beach area monitored by a staff of lifeguards.
The fee for swimming is $1.50 for children and $2.50 for adults.
