Nature Programs
Junior Ranger Activity Special programs for children ages 512. Well explore a variety of topics using stories, games and hands on activities.

Naturalist Talks Short talks on special natural or cultural history topics take place daily at 130 pm.

Imus Creek Trail Walk Two hour guided walks take place Thursday-Sunday 900 am. Join a naturalist to enjoy the beauty and history of the mountains, streams and forests of the Stehekin Area.

Buckner Orchard Bike and Hike Tour Saturdays at 1100 am during July and August. Free program includes 6 mile bike ride and a walking tour of the historic Buckner Orchard. Bike rental and lunch are not included in the free tour.(2.75 hrs, meet in front of Lodge)
Plane Nearest major airport is Seatac - Seattle, Washington. Chelan Airways (509/682-5555)provides floatplane access to Stehekin in Lake Chelan National Recreation Area.

Car There is no car access to the Stehekin Valley and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. Take Highway 2 to the town of Chelan where passenger ferry and plane access is available.

Bus From Wenatchee, the "LINK" public bus system (no Sunday service)in Chelan County (1-509-6622155)connects to the passenger ferry at Chelan allowing foot passengers to visit Stehekin by boat. A van shuttle is available in the valley from the Stehekin Landing.
