Located in northeastern Oklahoma on the shore of Grand Lake, Cherokee State Park offers three park areas Riverside, Lakeside and Cherokee. Riverside Area is located below Pensacola Dam and known for great fishing. Amenities include picnic sites - group shelter, campsites, comfort stations, lighted boat ramp and
a 9-hole golf course. Lakeside Area has a swimming beach, picnic sites - group shelter, campsites, restroom with shower, playground and lighted boat ramp. The Cherokee Area features a swimming beach, picnic sites - group shelter, campsites and restroom with showers. All water sports are allowed on Grand Lake.
